چکیده

Background and Objectives: In children, hepatoblastoma preferentially is managed by liver resection (LR). However, in irresectable cases, transplantation (LT) required. The aim of our study was to compare short- long-term results after LR LT for the curative treatment hepatoblastoma. Materials Methods: Retrospective analysis all patients treated surgically from January 2000 until December 2019 performed. Demographic clinical data were collected before surgery. primary endpoints disease free survival patient survival. Results: total, 38 included into (n = 28 LR, n 10 LT) with a median follow-up 5 years. 36 received chemotherapy prior Total hospital stay intensive care unit (ICU) significantly longer within vs. group (ICU 23 4 days, 34 16 respectively; p < 0.001). Surgical complications (≤Clavien–Dindo 3a) equally distributed both groups (60% 57%; 1.00). Severe (≥Clavien–Dindo more frequent (50% 21.4%; 0.11). Recurrence rates 10.7% 0% at years or (p 0.94).
